SKILLS AND EXPERTISE
Dr. Rachel Harrison-French is the project manager at Dartmoor Community Kitchen Hub. Rachel completed her PhD on the development of education and the arts at Dartington Hall in Devon with a focus on arts patronage and the creation of a centre for research and rural regeneration. In addition, she is a qualified primary school teacher with over twenty years’ experience working with children and families in Devon, holding specialisms in Early Years, SEND and Outdoor Learning. Rachel has led training in outdoor learning across several schools in Plymouth over the past five years, promoting positive mental health and wellbeing through learning in the natural world. In addition, Rachel has completed debt advice training with CMA and is experienced in supporting families with ongoing financial issues.
Stella West-Harling MBE is founder and CEO of Ashburton Cookery School and Chefs Academy, Dartmoor Community Kitchen Hub and Food Bank, Community Kitchen Hubs CIC, President of The Independent Cookery Schools Association and founder of Feeding Devon. She is also a trained councillor. She holds a DITB Training certificate, a post grad diploma in Industrial Management and an affiliated MBA.Feeding Devon is a passionate and dedicated network of more than 30 organisations
